A Journey Into Health
For as long as I can remember, I have always been interested in health and wellness. In 1998 I began including yoga into my exercise routine purely to increase my flexibility, and started exploring meditation to help offset the stress of a high-tech, corporate work environment. Fifteen years later, I finally woke up and recognized just how much more there is to health and wellness; I experienced first hand the benefits of really making time for me and of slowing down.
In addition to being a certified yoga instructor, my long-standing interest in health and wellness also led me to energy healing and holistic nutrition: I'm also an Usui Reiki Master and am an Eating Psychology Coach.
I believe each person is unique and ever-changing, so there's no "one-size-fits-all" solution to health and wellness. To be successful, self-improvement and self-care practices need to take into account everything that's going on in one's life, and adjust accordingly. I also believe that health practices need to be interesting and fun!
