I have been practicing yoga for over 14 years. I began with Bikram yoga and within the past 5 years found my way to the style similar to the Baptiste VInyasa flow. I became a teacher shortly thereafter due to the amazing healing that a practice with focus and breath can bring to the body. I am passionate about sharing the physical benefits and healing powers of yoga while teaching others to discover this within themselves. I utilize an approach that allows the student to feel the freedom and have access to this life giving practice in a very approachable way. What we discover on the mat and through our breath we take into our daily lives. That peace and integrity creates a life experience of deeper joy and profound meaning. It all begins with the awareness of the breath. As a teacher, my goal is to focus on each students' level of ability and desire to develop their own personal goals in a balanced practice. It is in guiding the student on the mat, and taking that experience of satisfaction, energy, and peace into their daily life that brings me the greatest joy and purpose. I teach private sessions as well as studio classes and outdoor nature venues.
