Michelle Vink

Description

Michelle Vink discovered yoga over ten years ago, but it was after discovering the power of meditation at a Buddhist temple in downtown Los Angeles that it truly changed her life.  Working in Beverly Hills as both a journalist and later a founder of her own brand agency, she has struggled to stay balanced with the demands of her career and lifestyle. It was through her love of yoga, meditation and philanthropy that kept her grounded and that continues to do so today. Now she wants to share what she has learned and show more people how to integrate this wisdom into today's fast paced life.

A graduate from the Yogaworks Teacher Training 200-hour program and certified through Yoga Alliance, Michelle has also received additional training with yoga nidra and meditation experts like Richard Miller, Ph.D, Jack Kornfield and Rod Stryker. She continuously studies, practices and teaches yoga, yoga nidra and mediation as a solution for the stress in today's modern lifestyle, working with both underprivileged and professional communities. Michelle is also an active volunteer for "The Art of Elysium", on the advisory board for "In A Perfect World" and has always been a supporter of many nonprofits throughout her professional and personal life. Michelle continues to write and contribute on the subject of yoga and wellness in various media outlets. You can read some of her work on the blog, Unexpected Bliss.
