My approach to teaching yoga is using the Vanda Scaravelli principles of "the ground, the breath and the spine" to find the yoga from within. No one looks the same doing the poses, none of us have the same bones, or the same past history. How does the pose "feel" inside, are we connected to breath and aware of how the poses are touching us and changing us. She teaches independently out of Mystic Roots in Cobourg (Mondays), Columbus House in Port Hope (Tuesdays), and under Breathing Space Yoga in Hamilton (Fridays). Hatha
Tannice was trained through Esther Myers Yoga Studios’ 2-year training (Hatha with Vanda Scaravelli principles) and now has 22 years (over 7,000 hours) of teaching. She has just logged in part of her hours in YYT and will be updating (logging in hours) to receive teaching status in the next month.
