They style that I teach is unique, I apply what I have learned from my teachers and experienced in my body as well as the students who continue to be my teachers every day. When I started practicing yoga I was experiencing a lot of low back and SI joint pain, after the birth of my second child. I found relief through yoga and I feel as though I found myself through the practice of yoga. After enrolling into YTT, I became pregnant with my 3rd child five weeks into a year long program. I learned how to practice yoga safely through each trimester, modify and understand acceptance of my changing practice even after I delievered. After YTT I would still experience SI joint, lumbar and pelvic pain and started to look for other ways to find relief and thats when I found Thai Bodywork to be helpful for me. I incorporate my teachings of breathe, dynamic symetrical/asymetrical movement into static postures with contract and relax techniques, muscle compression, range of motion and trigger point therapy into my teaching, making my classes unique. I believe that each person has a unique history and patterns that have been created to cope with their lifestyle. I like to guide students to tune into themselves, find acceptance and relief from creating new neuro connections as well as deeping their connection to their community.
