Description

• Yoga has always been a background murmur in my life since the 1970s until walking into it whole-heartedly in 1995

• The teaching style accomodates all people, no matter what age, it is accessible.

• Weekly classes are "all levels" and adults of all ages mix together.

• Yoga retreats are held twice a year in Northumberland County or surrounding counties of Ontario.

• Workshops for 2013 for various areas of yoga interests to be announced on the website in December of 2012 

• Meditation practitioner and teacher of meditation when the requests arise

• Teaching since 1997 in Northumberland County. All classes have an "invisible thread" that lead us to it's conclusion to both prepare the body and open the mind in a caring, nurturing, and expansive way. Classes may have different areas of focus within the body and we explore different ways of delving into those areas. With alternative poses to offer as necessary for your body we can all find an open doorway into a pose.

• Yoga is as diverse as we are. Yoga: Competing with no-one and no-thing. Letting the connection to ground be a beginning of less separation with nature can be an expression of internal love and joy. All the poses offer their own gifts and this expression of joy can begin to travel the wave of the body/mind awareness -- with a gentleness and internal dynamic energy -- both at the same time.

Credentials

• Trained at Esther Myers Yoga Studio (749 hours) on Certificate of Qualification

• Was registered as 500 hr RYT (membership lapsed) Over 4,500 hrs. of teaching experience to date

• Always upgrading training with various workshops throughout the year from many sources
