Jomiryz Thomas
Yoga isn’t only about asanas (poses), it is also about living a more authentic life—a life where we can greet people from a place of love and understanding. I believe in bringing that into my teaching and love to work with everybody and EVERY body to assist in their yoga journey. Perhaps you are new to yoga or nervous about a studio setting? That used to be me and I would love to help guide you confidently through a practice! Send me a message to learn more.

Hello! I am Jomiryz Thomas, RYT500 and I teach healing centered and accessible yoga and meditation. I have been practicing yoga and meditation for over 20 years and initially discovered it during my first pregnancy (I now have 3 daughters ages 19, 17, and 15.) Through the years however, I discovered just how powerful a practice it could be, for healing of the mind, body, and spirit. Yoga and meditation has helped me through grief, postpartum depression, anxiety, and was the catalyst for me to seek out more natural modalities for healing myself. I now have a Bachelor’s of Science in Alternative Medicine and am extremely passionate about helping others find that balance and inner peace through lifelong physical, mental, emotional and spiritual practices of these varying natural methods.
Because yoga and meditation always remained at the forefront of this journey for me though, I finally decided to earn my 200-Hour and then 500-Hour Yoga Teaching Certification from Ignite Yoga and Wellness Institute and can say that I now understand more as to the WHY yoga and meditation is such an amazing gift. I am currently taking specific training to bring even more ACCESSIBLE yoga to my classes.
