My class is called Yoga for Radiant Health, focusing on somatic SATYA mat warm ups, supine, sidelying and prone; then moving to seated postures and up to standing. I use props: chairs, yoga belts, foam blocks, bolsters. My classes consist of SATYA, asana, resistance bands, Taoist qigong, mindfulness meditations & poetry. I've been teaching for 10+ years. Your "therapeutic focus" really does not give a choice for what I teach. Most of my students are working with a variety of issues from chronic pain to recent recovery of joint replacements, or injuries, & I work with many women (primarily) with osteoporosis. My primary focus is working with an aging body, right where it is today~not what it was like 20 yrs ago. My classes can increase balance & stability, flexibility, mobility, & help with sleep, reduce anxiety, and increase overall well being. And, it's enjoyable!

Yoga for Lower Back Pain
My 200 hr training I completed in 2008 with Matthew Cohen at Sacred Energy Arts in Santa Monica, CA. He is also my qigong teacher. I completed 2 years of the Yoga Therapy program at Loyola Marymount University, adding an additional 300+ hrs to my credential. I have completed SATYA I, II, & III plus advanced studies with Tias Little. I am certified in Yoga for Osteoporosis (Dr. Fishman's program), and the Duke University Yoga for Seniors. I am a certified Insight meditation teacher. I have completed Yoga U's posture & alignment training & many others offered over the past several years.
