Michelle L. Bowles, e-RYT, PYT 500, TSY, RCYT - My Lotus Blossom Yoga Therapy
Michelle has been practicing yoga since 1994, teaching yoga since 2002, and a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher since 2012. She has completed 200 and 500 hour trainings in yoga therapy and is currently enrolled in her 1,000 hour mentorship program through Integrative Yoga Therapy, in compliance with the new standards of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. Michelle completed trainings with Yoga Warriors International in 2011, iRest Yoga Nidra in 2012, Warriors at Ease in 2012 and 2013; became a certified Trauma Sensitive Yoga teacher, and a certified Adaptive Yoga Teacher in 2012 and 2013 respectively; completed certification in Mudras for Healing and Transformation and Pranayama in 2014; trained in Hatha, Yin, Restorative, Chair, Somatics, Yogassage/Thai Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Therapeutics through IYT, and was grandfathered in as a Children's Yoga Teacher by teaching more than 250 (500 taught) hours of children's yoga prior to December 31, 2010.
Michelle specializes in yoga for stress relief, anxiety, trauma, auto-immune disorders, and working with military personnel. She works closely with Yoga Day 501c3 to bring yoga to underserved populations in San Antonio, TX; teaches public classes at Yoga On Bulverde in San Antonio; conducts classes and trainings in St. Louis, Missouri; and sees private clients in Texas, Missouri, and other areas via Skype.
