Moriah Diederich
“I am a problem-solver at heart, and enjoy connecting with my clients to understand their areas of discomfort, finding solutions and working with them to meet their individual goals.”
My name is Moriah Diederich. I am a Holistic Yoga Therapist™, RYT500, Accessible Yoga Teacher, owner of Yoga Mojo & Movement Therapy in Vancouver, WA and have been a guest on KGW8 Portland Today. In other words, I love yoga and sharing all of the many benefits it has to offer. I believe that everyone can benefit from yoga because it can be practiced by anyone, regardless of age, size or abilities, and can show us how to sustain healthy movement for life.
“In addition to being able to personalize yoga classes, I also love helping my clients move better throughout their day – and not just on their yoga mat.”
I believe in the power of yoga so much that I gave up a successful 20-year career as a graphic designer to open a private yoga studio in Vancouver, Washington, called Yoga Mojo & Movement Therapy. My yoga studio is very different from other yoga studios in that I offer one-on-one private yoga classes that are designed specifically for the individual I am working with. I collaborate with my clients about specific discomforts they are experiencing and how it affects their daily life, so we can explore different options to reduce pain and stress.
I have enjoyed practicing yoga since 2001, but it was my own pain and movement limitations from sitting behind a desk that lead me to become a certified Holistic Yoga Therapist specializing in posture, ergonomics and functional movement. Holistic Yoga Therapy was life changing for me, empowering me with skills to reduce pain and regain freedom of movement to participate in my favorite activities like hiking again. It is what drives my passion for helping clients today.
“Through a combination of yoga, self-care techniques, posture and ergonomics I am able to offer my clients a wide-range of assistance to feel better, reduce stress and enhance mobility no matter their age, size or abilities.”
