Tamarisk Yoga
My yoga approach is simple. Yoga can help anyone to better health and wellbeing - age, fitness and experience are no barrier to a safe, rewarding practice which calms the mind and strengthens and tones the body.
I have practised and explored yoga for nearly 30 years. I teach yoga privately and to small classes. By drawing on various yoga and meditation traditions, and taking time to understand what my students want and need from their yoga, I hope to help each one to find the practice that their mind and body will love.

My 500 hour yoga teaching training was from the New Forest Yoga School, accredited by the Independent Yoga Network.
For those who want a more physically demanding practice my classes blend strong Sivananda Hatha Yoga asanas with some Vinyasa Flow elements. I also offer Bikram-inspired classes for all abilities and experience levels.
My Gentle Yoga classes are designed for those looking for a softer approach to their yoga. These are ideal for sufferers of conditions such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia etc.
And I love to teach yoga to seniors - again a gentler style, sometimes chair-based, to help restore balance and joint mobility.
